Walter Dixon:

After moving to several cities in Texas growing up, I graduated from Victoria High School in 1988. I met Tammi that year and we were married in 1991. We have 2 children who have inspired our passion for archery through their own journeys. Both have set multiple state and national records competing in indoor and outdoor tournaments. Tammi and I started coaching in 2006 and still love teaching others archery. As a family, we continue to shoot together whenever we can and hunt together several times a year.

Genesis 27:3 - "Take your bow and a quiver full of arrows, and go out into the open country to hunt some wild game for me."

Proverbs 1:7 - "Wisdom begins with the fear of the LORD, but fools despise wisdom and instruction."

Tammi Dixon:

I was raised in Victoria, graduated from Victoria High School in 1990. Walter and I met in 1988 and were married in 1991. We have a son and daughter, Justin and Jordan, who are twins. We started coaching archery through 4H in 2006 when our children were 9 years old and coached until our children graduated High School. Archery became our way of life shortly after we started coaching with multiple tournaments monthly around the country. Walter and I became USA archery coaches and have maintained our Level 2 Coaching certification to help others develop a passion for archery. We have served on the board for the Junior Olympic Archery Development Club as well as Straight Arrow Archery Learning Center for 2 years. We still compete in occasional indoor and outdoor tournaments and bow hunt as much as possible.

Colossians 3:17 - "And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him."

1 Corinthians 13:4 - "Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant."
